Haven’t been posting lately…busy with my internships and the beach! But here are some fun photos…

Max and I have recently been talking about getting a dog.  Well, more like him getting a dog and me loving it unconditionally while he washes it, grooms it, disciplines it, and cleans up after it. However we both talked about how it was just bad luck to purchase a puppy together when so many couples have gotten dogs and have ended up breaking up a couple months later and the poor thing ends up in an animal shelter.  :(

So one day Max called me after work and told me that I had a package coming in the mail and that I should be really excited because I was going to LOVE IT.  And I thought to myself… Impossible, unless it’s a golden retriever puppy.  And I tried really hard to be enthusiastic about this surprise over the phone but I just couldn’t figure it out. What could he possibly send me that he was so excited for me to recieve? 

Sure enough, after a 2 hour drive back from Santa Monica, I see a medium sized box hiding behind the bushes next to my front door.  So I leaped out of my car, grabbed the cardboard box—without even turning off my car engine, and grabbed a knife to open up this mysterious thing.  And there it was…. my perfect golden retriever puppy sitting in its Build-A-Bear home with a cute little red dog tag and all.  

His name is Ralph and I couldn’t be happier with the new little addition to my family. :)
